The Course
The course begins on South Main Street at the intersection by the Rocky Mount Christian Church and the Trinity Episcopal Church. Traveling downhill, participants take a left onto North Main Street. They cross over the Angle bridge and stay straight until reaching the Rocky Mount Fire Department parking lot. Here, 5K participants turn around and follow the route back. 5 Mile participants continue on to the Benjamin Franklin Middle School parking lot. Upon returning, all participant continue past the starting point, travel down South Main Street and take a right onto Floyd Avenue, before reaching the Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital. Then take an immediate right onto Bank Street and race to the finish line!
Note: Parking is permitted in the county lot below the courthouse and at the Rocky Mount Christian Church.
